The Czech-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is established under the patronage of the Czech Embassy in Stockholm as a non-profit organization, focused solely on supporting Czech businesses in Sweden. It will officially launch in June 2025, with Katerina Str\u00f6msholm as its founding President and Ambassador Anita Grmelov\u00e1 as its first Honorary Patron. It’s built on teamwork and the idea that Czech businesses should have a strong and visible presence in Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chamber was born from a conversation in 2024 between Katerina Str\u00f6msholm, a business lawyer with extensive experience advising Czech companies in Sweden, and Anita Grmelov\u00e1, Czech Ambassador to Sweden. They realized that Czech businesses in the Swedish market needed a platform to connect, collaborate, and receive ongoing support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ambassador Grmelov\u00e1 was key in the Chamber’s early growth, offering her support and opening important connections. Meanwhile, Katerina Str\u00f6msholm developed the Chamber’s goals, structure, and partnerships, working with businesses in both countries to bring the idea to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
